Hi everyone,
I’m using Delightex for our upcoming workshops and I have a question about managing 3D assets. We have a set of specific 3D models that we’d like to use consistently across multiple student accounts each day.
Is there a way to upload these models once into a template (or some kind of shared resource) so that they can be automatically sent out or copied to student accounts? Right now, it seems like we’d need to create a class and upload the assets individually for each student, every session which feels like a waste of time.
Has anyone found a workflow or feature that allows for a “one upload, many accounts” setup? Any tips or best practices would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Chelsea
Hi @NokuTeAo
At the moment, Delightex Edu doesn’t support a global/shared asset library where uploaded 3D models can automatically be pushed to multiple student accounts.
We’d suggest:
-
Create a template Project that already includes all the 3D models you want students to use.
-
Share or assign that Project with your students.
-
Students then Remix the Project and work from that copy.
If you’re running daily workshops with rotating students, creating a reusable template Project is the most time-efficient approach right now. That said, a “one upload, many accounts” asset workflow is definitely useful, and this feedback has already been shared with our team.
Let us know what approach you tried in the end. Thanks!
