We re currently building a learning game in a city and we have lots of items everywhere.
We have difficulty zooming in to objects (but now we discovered the use of f).
But suddenly we weren’t able to zoom in to floor level anymore and we can only look at our city at rooftop level. which makes building very difficult.
Anyone knows this problem or has a solution?
Hi @Jule_Kuppinger
When you’re in the editor and want to view your scene from a specific camera perspective, you can press F to jump to that camera perspective. To exit the camera perspective and return to the standard view, press F again. This should fix the issue (allowing you to zoom in with V or zoom out with C in/from specific objects).
If you’ve created an entire city, it can be helpful to place additional cameras at various locations throughout the city while editing. For example, by setting the “park camera” as the main camera, you can easily jump to the “city park” by pressing F and then exit it again (again by pressing F) when you’re finished editing the park. Additional cameras can be removed or added at any time and at any location.
I hope you like this idea and have fun building your 3D city!
