360 Image – Grid not adjustable / objects floating issue

Hello everyone,

I’m currently working with Delightex Edu and would like to upload my own 360° image of a real environment into a project in order to add objects to it.

However, I’m facing an issue with the object grid: it cannot be adjusted and appears to float in mid-air. Because of this, I’m unable to place or “attach” objects realistically on the ground of my environment.

So my questions are:

  • Is there any way to move or adjust the grid (e.g. lower it to match the ground)?

  • Or are there other tips or best practices for placing objects realistically into a 360° environment?

Any help or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @CFT_Training,

Placing objects realistically in a 360° image can be a bit challenging since the environment is just a flat image and doesn’t contain any depth information. The grid itself can’t be moved, but if the 360 Environment checkbox is enabled, you can move objects below the grid to better match the scene.

Let us know if you have any other questions :slightly_smiling_face:
